Mrs. Morris' class presents "Westward Expansion"

Lady Panther Volleyball Camp will be held on Friday, June 17, 5:30-9:00 p.m. All girls who have completed grades K-5 are eligible. Click here for the registration form or go to the online signup form to register.

 Recently, Southside Elementary has been named a Front Row Super School due to our school's dedicated use of Front Row over the past year. Congratulations teachers and students!

Important Notice to Parents Regarding New Procedures for Classroom Parties
Due to issues with security and the safety of our students, we will be making some changes for classroom parties. We appreciate your patience and cooperation as we introduce these new procedures.

Southside Elementary recently held their Annual 4th Grade Instrument Contest. Grand Prize went to Justice and first place went to Riley. There was a tie for second place between Hailey and Keaton. Brock and Shane tied for third place. Chloe, Jasmine, and Ivan received Honorable Mention, and Marianne received a medal for Most Creative.

Southside's Spelling Bee was held on December 10
After intense competition, Southside Elementary School has a champion! Congratulations to Jahaziel (Mrs. Brown's class) for making school champion, and qualifying to participate in the Benton County Spelling Bee on January 16 at Northwest Arkansas Community College. In case of inclement weather, the Benton County Spelling Bee will be rescheduled for January 23.
We also congratulate our runner-up and official Benton County Spelling Bee alternate speller, Audrey (Ms. McCratic's class). Our 4th grade winners are Abbie (Mrs. Morris' class) and Cecilia (Ms. Espinal). Our 3rd grade winner is JC (Mrs. Wilmott's class). We are proud of all participants for their obvious hard work! 


2015-2016 Teacher of the Year: Mrs. Teresa Price
Teresa Price is the music teacher at Southside Elementary.

Teresa enjoys working with all of her students, especially those who need a little extra love.  Her goal is to instill a love for music in each of her students and she tries to make a real difference in their lives.
