Southside's Spelling Bee was held on December 10
After intense competition, Southside Elementary School has a champion! Congratulations to Jahaziel (Mrs. Brown's class) for making school champion, and qualifying to participate in the Benton County Spelling Bee on January 16 at Northwest Arkansas Community College. In case of inclement weather, the Benton County Spelling Bee will be rescheduled for January 23.
We also congratulate our runner-up and official Benton County Spelling Bee alternate speller, Audrey (Ms. McCratic's class). Our 4th grade winners are Abbie (Mrs. Morris' class) and Cecilia (Ms. Espinal). Our 3rd grade winner is JC (Mrs. Wilmott's class). We are proud of all participants for their obvious hard work!
